This Privacy Policy explains how Color It Company LLC (“Color It Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with Suggest Page (https://suggestpage.com) and related Site Care services.

1. Scope

This policy covers:

Customers who purchase Page Pack / Site Care or request setup;
Visitors who view or submit suggestions on customer suggestion pages that we host, deliver, or help operate;
Visitors to suggestpage.com and related demo pages we operate (for example, demos linked from the product site).

Customer sites may also be hosted on the customer’s own infrastructure (for example, GitHub Pages). Where a customer controls hosting and forms independently, that customer may be an independent controller of visitor data; this policy describes our practices when we process data as operator of Suggest Page / Color It Company.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Customers (buyers)

We may collect:

Identity and contact data: name, email address, brand/company name, domain or URL, phone number if you provide it, mailing address if provided;
Setup data: one-line purpose, brand preferences, and related instructions you send us;
Billing data: payment status, plan type, invoices, and limited payment metadata. Card payments are processed by Stripe. We do not receive your full card number when Stripe Checkout works as designed; Stripe is an independent payment processor. See Stripe’s privacy policy;
Communications: emails, chat messages, and support correspondence;
Service operations data: publish/triage notes, Yes/Later/No decisions we help implement under Site Care.

2.2 Visitors who submit suggestions

Typical Suggest Page forms send submissions through a form-delivery provider (currently Web3Forms) to operational email. We (and/or the customer, depending on setup) may receive:

Idea text (required suggestion content);
Optional fields — name, email, and/or page URL when the form includes them;
Technical / operational metadata — hidden site identifier, submission time, and form-handler metadata;
Decision-link beacons — when an operator clicks a signed Yes / Later / No link, Web3Forms may receive site id, suggestion id, action, and token for triage (not a visitor login).

Public board: Approved and other statused ideas may be published in static files (for example suggestions/data.json on GitHub Pages), which can include suggestion text, optional name, page, status, notes, and dates.

We do not require visitors to create an account or log in to submit a suggestion.

2.3 Automatically collected data (site visitors)

On sites we control (such as suggestpage.com), we may collect:

Standard server or CDN logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, timestamps);
Cookies / local storage as described in our Cookie Notice.

Analytics (to confirm): We may use essential cookies and optional analytics tools. Exact vendors are listed as open items in our legal README until confirmed.

2.4 Information we do not intentionally collect

We do not intentionally collect government ID numbers, payment card PANs, or special-category health data through Suggest Page forms. Please do not submit sensitive personal data in suggestion text.

3. How we use information

We use information to:

Provide, set up, and maintain Suggest Page and Site Care;
Process payments and prevent fraud (with Stripe);
Email idea notifications and operational messages;
Update public boards (for example, via data.json and republish) according to Yes / Later / No decisions;
Communicate about orders, renewals, cancellations, and support;
Improve the product and documentation;
Comply with law, enforce our Terms and Acceptable Use Policy, and protect rights and safety.

4. How we share information

We may share information with:

Stripe — payment processing via Stripe Payment Links / Checkout / Customer Portal (card data stays with Stripe);
Web3Forms — form delivery and decision-link beacons for suggestion triage email;
Hosting / CDN — for example GitHub Pages for static site files;
Email and infrastructure providers — to deliver messages and host or deploy static sites;
Internal automation — teammate bots or operators may read triage email and update the public board; there is no user-facing generative AI product on the pages themselves;
Customers — visitor suggestion content submitted on that customer’s page is provided to the customer so they can operate their board;
Service providers who assist under contractual obligations (hosting, DNS, contractors working on Site Care);
Legal / safety — when required by law, or to protect rights, security, and integrity;
Business transfer — in connection with a merger, sale, or reorganization, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money. We do not knowingly “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), unless we update this policy and offer required choices.

5. Retention

We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purposes above, including:

Customer account and billing records: for the relationship plus a reasonable period for tax, accounting, and dispute resolution;
Suggestion submissions: while the page is active and for a reasonable period afterward, or until deletion is requested and feasible;
Emails and support threads: as needed for operations and legal compliance.

Static files held by customers on their own hosting are under the customer’s control.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to a small static-site product (access controls on email/hosting, Stripe-hosted checkout, limited data handling). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7. Your rights (California and generally)

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to:

Know / access personal information we hold about you;
Delete personal information, subject to legal exceptions;
Correct inaccurate personal information;
Opt out of sale/sharing (we state we do not sell; contact us if you believe otherwise);
Non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights.

How to exercise: Email steven@coloritcompany.com with the subject line “Privacy Request.” We may need to verify your identity. Authorized agents may submit requests as permitted by law.

CCPA categories (high level): In the past 12 months we may have collected identifiers (name, email, IP), commercial information (purchases), internet/electronic activity (site logs), and user-generated suggestion content. We collect these for the business purposes listed in Section 3.

Residents of other U.S. states or countries may have similar rights under local law; we will honor applicable requirements.

8. Children

Suggest Page is directed to businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 where required). If you believe a child submitted personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

9. International transfers

We are based in the United States (California). If you access the service from outside the U.S., your information may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Those countries may have different data-protection laws than your home country.

10. Third-party links and customer sites

Suggestion pages we deliver for customers may link to third-party sites. We are not responsible for those sites’ privacy practices. When customers self-host, they should publish their own notices if they collect data beyond what we process.

11. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy by posting a new version with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated by email or a site notice when appropriate.
