Color It Company LLC (“Color It Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects intellectual property rights and expects customers and visitors to do the same.

This notice covers user-generated suggestions on Suggest Page boards and customer site content we host or help publish. It also covers our own product materials.

1. Ownership overview

• Customers retain rights in their pre-existing brand assets and content they supply, as described in our Terms of Service.
• Visitors retain whatever rights they have in original suggestion text they submit, subject to the license needed to operate email notifications, Site Care, and the public board.
• Color It Company retains rights in Suggest Page templates, tooling, documentation, and brand materials.

Submitting a suggestion does not mean we claim ownership of your idea solely by receipt—but you grant permission for us and the page operator to process, store, display (if approved/published), and moderate that content as part of the service.

2. Customer and visitor responsibilities

Do not upload, submit, or instruct us to publish content that infringes copyright, trademark, or related rights. Customers should moderate boards and respond promptly to valid complaints about their pages.

3. Notice of claimed infringement (DMCA-style)

If you believe content on a Suggest Page we operate or help maintain infringes your copyright, send a notice to steven@coloritcompany.com including:

1. 1. Your physical or electronic signature (typed full name is acceptable for email);
2. 2. Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed;
3. 3. Identification of the material claimed to be infringing and information reasonably sufficient to locate it (URL, screenshot, suggestion text, date);
4. 4. Your contact information (address, telephone number, and email);
5. 5. A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law;
6. 6. A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.

4. Our response

Upon receiving a complete notice, we may:

• Remove or disable access to the material;
• Notify the customer and/or the submitter;
• Request a counter-notice where appropriate;
• Terminate repeat infringers’ access to the service in appropriate circumstances.

We may also remove content that violates our Acceptable Use Policy even without a formal DMCA notice.

5. Counter-notice

If material you posted was removed and you believe it was a mistake or misidentification, email steven@coloritcompany.com with:

• Your signature;
• Identification of the removed material and where it appeared;
• A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification;
• Your name, address, and phone number, and consent to jurisdiction of the federal district court for the district covering Campbell / Santa Clara County, California (or any judicial district in which you reside if outside the U.S.), and that you will accept service of process from the complainant.

We may restore material consistent with applicable law.

6. Trademarks

If you believe a Suggest Page misuses your trademark, contact steven@coloritcompany.com with the URL, your mark, and a description of the issue. We will review and may request edits or take down content.

7. Our materials

You may not copy Suggest Page product pages, templates, or documentation for competing commercial reuse without permission, except for static files delivered to you under a paid Page Pack for your licensed URL/scope.
